Roger Williams University Student Dies While Studying Abroad
A student at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island died while studying abroad.
RWU made the announcement on Sunday with the following statement:
The RWU community is heartbroken to announce the passing of Paige Moreau, a beloved member of the Class of 2026.
Paige was in Florence, Italy, on a study abroad program when she experienced a medical emergency, which tragically resulted in her death on April 26.
Paige was actively involved in the RWU campus community, making a lasting impact as an Architecture student, her role as an RA in the Housing Office, and her contributions as a Building Manager with SPLO.
Her leadership, mentorship, and spirit touched the lives of many.
Paige will be deeply missed. As we mourn this profound loss, we stand together sending messages of love and support to her friends and family.
She was a graduate of Lincoln High School and participated in the cheerleading team, Best Buddies, and track and field.
